Oothukkadu Kalinganarthana Perumal Temple
Parihara Sthalam

The Paramatma, who resides eternally in Goloka, manifests in various parts of Bharata Desam (India) through temples and removes the sufferings of the devotees who come seeking Him. The reason He removes these sufferings is not to make us repeatedly desire worldly pleasures — because worldly realms are temporary, Krishna alone is eternal.

His true goal is to make us reach a state where we say: “I want nothing from You — I want only You.” If He gives that state first, no one would go to Him. Even if people do not go to Krishna, He loses nothing — but we lose greatly.

Oothukkadusanctum is known as a Parihara Sthalam for the removal of various difficulties.

1) For those who aspire for devotion to Krishna and spiritual knowledge, and are engaged in spiritual practice, if they perform their sadhana in this sanctum for three consecutive days, the inner obstacles will be removed and the right path will open for them.

2) This is a sacred place of worship for those born under the Rohini star.

3) For couples who do not have children, visiting this sanctum and worshipping according to the traditional temple customs will surely bless them with offspring.

4) Marriage obstacles are removed here.

5) Rahu–Ketu Sarpa Dosha will be relieved.

6) This is the only Krishna Kshetram that those involved in the arts field must worship. Artist in the field of Music, Bharatanatyam, players of musical instruments like Veena, flute, etc., For them, performing an Arangetram here is especially auspicious.
